BRANDEGEE ART
18th & 19th century recycled wood, environmentally friendly furniture design for today’s lifestyles.

Early settlers felled and shaped trees to build log shelters and barns for their families and livestock. In our furniture, something of their energy and vital force lives on. We honor those original builders by recycling their work into carefully made, aesthetically satisfying pieces that are at home in the 21st century.

All our furniture designs start with hand-hewn logs and beams from 18th and 19th century log cabins and barns. Natural colors and rough textures play against the polished glass, stone, steel, and canvas we use for table tops and other parts. Rough/smooth, antique/contemporary, hand/machine, and heavy/light, high tech/high touch the contrasts create unique art objects that function as furniture. Our designs work in a city high-rise, a vacation house, or offices in an e-connected world.
